MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Iowa State women's tennis team fell to Kansas State this afternoon in Manhattan.
In singles action, Iowa State freshman Kara Hickey dropped a close match in the No. 2 spot to KSU's Jessica Simosa 6-7 (5-7), 6-0, 10-6. Cyclone Eve Soriano captured her first set 6-3 before losing the next two sets to Tereza Prochazkova 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 6 spot. The Wildcats captured all of the singles and doubles matches to win 7-0.
Cyclone netters finish up the weekend at Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. tomorrow at 11 a.m.
