CHASKA, Minn.--Iowa State junior golfer Joe Cermak missed the cut by one stroke today at the 2006 United States Amateur hosted by the Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn.
A native of Chicago, Cermak fired a two-round total of 149 (76-73) to finish at 6-over par. Competitors that were 5-over par or better were in position to qualify for the match play portion of the tournament which begins tomorrow.
