Wrestling Club Kick-Off Dinner Oct. 18

AMES, Iowa -- The Cyclone Wrestling Club will host its second annual pre-season kick-off dinner Thursday at the 7-Flags Event Center in Clive, Iowa.

A social and autograph session opens the event at 6 p.m., followed with dinner served by Lynch BBQ at 7 p.m. Head wrestling coach Cael Sanderson, along with associate head coach Cody Sanderson and assistant head coach Tim Hartung will serve as featured speakers at 8:30 p.m.

A silent and live auction will take place during the course of the evening. Items that will be available for bid include a framed vintage ISU wrestling singlet autographed by all five Cyclone Olympic gold medalists, an autographed headgear signed by selected members of the 2007 Big 12 championship team, a weekend wrestling package with front row tickets to the Dec. 9 Iowa State versus Iowa dual and an original drawing by Cael Sanderson. There will be many other items available.

Cost for the kick-off dinner is $20 per person with tickets being sold at the door.
