Former Cyclone Robyn Riedler Passes Away

Former Iowa State softball player Robyn (Riedler) Ballie, who played for the Cyclones from 1997-2000, passed away suddenly at her home in Battle Ground, Wash., on the night of June 9th due to complications from a seizure. Ballie, 29, and her husband Bryce have two sons, Tyler and Trent.
The former second baseman still ranks in top-10 with 21 career stolen bases and 33 career sacrifice hits. She hit .246 with 10 stolen bases as a senior in 2000. She earned her degree in exercise and sport science in 2000.
