ERIN, Wis. ? Iowa State women's golfer Pennapa Pulsawath fired rounds of 75-80 (155) to make the 64-player match-play portion of the 32nd U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship. Pulsawath easily qualified, tying for 27th place out of a field of 156 competitors.
Pulsawath was in a tie for 11th place after day one.
Pulsawath is paired up against Forest City, N.C., native Emily Street for Wednesday's match-play round. The two are scheduled to tee off today at the 6,178-yard, par-73 Erin Hills Golf Course at 11:03 a.m. The second and third round of match-play will be played tomorrow.
The winner of the Street/Pulsawath match will play either Katie Kempter or Tzu Chi Lin in tomorrow's round of 32.
Iowa State junior Ana North missed the cut after carding a two-round total of 170.
