AMES, Iowa ? Iowa State All-American Lisa Koll has earned first-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors for the second straight year. The Fort Dodge native was a 2009 All-American in the 10,000-meter run. She is currently in veterinary medicine school at Iowa State with a 4.0 grade-point average.
Koll won both the 5,000-meter and the 10,000-meter runs at the 2009 Big 12 Conference outdoor meet in Lubbock, Texas. Her 10,000-meter win marked her third straight league title in that event. The five-time Big 12 champion is a four-time All-American.
