ISU Wrestling to Hold Open Mat and Saturday Tailgate

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State wrestling will be hosting an open mat available to the public Sept.12 at 8 a.m. prior to the Iowa State-Iowa football game. The event will take place in the Iowa State wrestling room on the second floor of the Lied Recreation Center and will be free of charge. The open mat will consist of current Iowa State student-athletes working out in preparation for the upcoming 2009-10 season.
The Cyclone Wrestling Club will also be hosting a tailgate party that morning prior to the football game. The tailgate will be held northeast of Jack Trice Stadium. Fans should look for the Lynch BBQ trailer and the Cyclone Wrestling Club banner. Lynch BBQ will be serving the meal.
