AMES, Iowa - The No. 2-ranked Iowa State wrestling team will wrestle in two top-10 dual matchups this weekend at Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. ISU will look to improve on their 7-2 dual record for the 2009-10 campaign against its first Big 12 Conference opponents of the season.

? No. 2 Iowa State will open its conference dual schedule with a pair of top-10 opponents in No. 10 Oklahoma and No. 3 Oklahoma State. ISU took down both OU and OSU last season in Ames, Iowa, by scores of 23-15 and 24-12, respectively.
? ISU downed 20th-ranked Illinois Jan. 16 with the help of bonus points, 33-9. The Cyclones notched a pair of falls in the dual.
? The Cyclones posted their best National Duals finish since 2000, earning second place Sunday in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Cyclones beat Bloomsburg, No. 8 Maryland and No. 3 Ohio State before falling to No. 1 Iowa, 19-12.

Cyclones Storm Bonus-Points On Illinois To Win 33-9
? Second-rated Iowa State scored two pins and two technical falls en route to a 33-9 rout of 19th-ranked Illinois Jan. 16 in Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones were missing regular starters Nick Gallick (141), Mitch Mueller (149) and Duke Burk (174) from their lineup. That fact didn't stop the ISU squad from coming up with plenty of bonus points for the crowd of 2,812 Cyclone supporters on hand to witness the dual victory.
? Iowa State improved to 7-2 in duals this season. It was Iowa State's 996th dual win in 94 years of Cyclone wrestling history. Illinois fell to 5-3.
? ISU's Dalton Jensen was a pinning machine for the Cyclone team effort, once again. Jensen, hailing from Missouri Valley, Iowa, downed 10th-ranked 141-pounder Ryan Prater of Illinois at the 3:27 mark in the second period. Jensen secured a cradle hold on his opponent to turn the tide in the bout. Jensen's last four victories have come by way of a fall.
