Cyclones Sign Three-Time All-Stater Beth Wagner

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State head women's golf coach Christie Martens announced today that Beth Wagner, a three-time all-state selection from Ankeny, Iowa, has signed a letter of intent to attend Iowa State University in the fall of 2011.
Wagner is heading into her senior season as one of the best players in the state, finishing in the top-four in the Class 4A Iowa state tournament three times (2008- 4th, 2009-4th, 2010-3rd).
Wagner, who was the Iowa PGA Section champion in 2008 and 2010, finished second at the 2010 Iowa Women's Amateur, four strokes behind current Cyclone Kristin Paulson.
