IRVING, Texas - Iowa State women's golf team member Pennapa Pulsawath has been awarded a spot on the All-Big 12 Conference golf team, announced by the Big 12 Conference Wednesday. Ten golfers in the conference received the honor.
The team consists of the 10 highest-ranked student-athletes according to Golfweek and Sagarin rankings following the Big 12 Championship. This season, Pulsawath has recorded six top-10 finishes and shot her career low 54 of 215 at the Challenge at Onion Creek in Austin, Texas. The senior from Bangkok, Thailand boasts a 76.32 stroke average and has yet to miss a meet.
The Cyclones will be making an appearance at the NCAA West Regional, May 6-8 in Palo Alto, Calif. The meet will mark ISU's first NCAA Regional appearance since 1996.
