LINCOLN, Neb. - Iowa State shot a season-high 57.6 percent from the field, including 10-of-17 from behind the arc, to defeat Nebraska 85-66 in the final regular season meeting between the longtime Big 12 foes. The Cyclones' 85 points were their most against a Big 12 opponent since the 2005-06 season when it beat Colorado 86-71 in Boulder.
Kelsey Bolte again paced the Cyclones offensively, scoring 26 points on 9-of-12 shooting. It marks her fifth-straight game with 20 or more points.
While Bolte was virtually unstoppable again, on this evening she had plenty of help. All nine Cyclones that played scored and Anna Prins tallied a career-high 23 points. Lauren Mansfield also reached double figures with 10 points.
Nebraska held a brief lead in the opening minute but it was all Cyclones outside of that as Iowa State took a 45-33 lead into the break. The Cyclones shot 59.4 percent from the field and 7-for-11 from behind the arc in the opening stanza.
The Cyclones' lead ballooned to 22 points late in the second half and they went on to snap a two-game Big 12 losing streak.
Lindsey Moore led Nebraska with 27 points.
Bolte moved into the top-10 all-time at Iowa State in rebounding, grabbing nine boards against the Huskers to move past Jolene Leseman. Bolte now has 590 career rebounds.
Prins also had nine rebounds and Chassidy Cole dished out a career-high six assists, all of which came in the first half.
Iowa State returns to action Saturday when it plays host to Missouri at 2 p.m. (CST) at Hilton Coliseum.
