Warner, Christofferson Lead Cyclones at Musco Twilight

IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Iowa State track and field team captured two event victories Saturday at the Musco Twilight, as seniors Ian Warner and Britta Christofferson earned first-place titles in the men's 100-meter dash and women's hammer throw, respectively.

Competing unattached, junior Danielle Frere also earned a first-place title in the shot put, with an outdoor personal best throw of 50-10.75.

The Cyclones earned second-place finishes in five events, including the men's 4x100-meter relay (40.68), and two runner-up finishes for junior Kianna Elahi in the 200-meter dash (24.60) and the 400-meter dash (54.23), hitting a new personal best time in the 400-meter dash.

Iowa State track and field is back in action Aril 28-30 at the 102nd running of the Drake Relays.
