EUGENE, Ore. – Iowa State All-American
Dani Stack ran one final 10,000-meter run of the season Thursday, shattering her previous personal-best time by nearly 21 seconds. The Cyclone sophomore posted a time of 33:04.17, good enough for 12th-place. Stack was also the first collegiate finisher across the line. Nike's Shalane Flanagan won the 10K in 30:59.97 at Hayward Field.

Jenny Dillon rests in 21st-place after the first four events of the junior heptathlon. After the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200-meter dash, Dillon has 2,325 points. After day one, the heptathlon leader is San Diego State's Allison Reaser with 3,174 points.
At the Canadian Track and Field Championships in Calgary, Alberta, Cyclone junior
Ian Warner finished 10th in the preliminary round of the 100-meter dash, clocking a time of 10.59.
The Cyclones continue action at the Junior USA Championships Friday as
Jenny Dillon competes in the final three events of the heptathlon.
