EUGENE, Ore. - Iowa State multi-event specialist Jenny Dillon was the lone Cyclone competitor at the Junior USA Championships Friday at Hayward Field. Dillon competed in the final three events of the heptathlon after competing in the first four on Thursday.
Dillon, who recently finished her first collegiate track and field season, finished the multi-event competition in 16th-place with 4,273Â points after finishing the first day with 2,325 points. In the last event of seven events, she won the first heat of the 800-meter run with a personal best time of 2:21.39, placing second overall in the event.Â
San Diego State's Allison Reaser won the junior heptathlon with 5,359 points.
