Track and Field Teams Earn All-Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS - The Iowa State men's and women's track and field teams both earned All-Academic status from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Assocation, the organization announced this week.
The men's squad was one of 90 Division I institutions to earn All-Academic honors by having a cumulative team grade point average of at least 3.00. the Iowa State men recorded a cumulative team GPA of 3.06. The Big 12 Conference led the nation's leagues by having eight schools make the All-Academic list.
The women's track and field squad was one of 164 Divison I teams to earn the honors from the USTFCCCA. The Cyclone women recorded a cumulative team GPA of 3.35. Eleven Big 12 schools were named All-Academic units.
