Cyclones Head to New York for New Balance Invitational

MEET SCHEDULE
AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State track and field teams will hit the road this weekend for the 11th annual New Balance Collegiate Invitational at The Armory in New York City. Events are scheduled for a 9:25 a.m. CST start on Friday as the meet kicks off with the women's 3,000-meter run. Action is scheduled to resume Saturday with a 7:30 a.m. CST with the women's 4x800-meter relay.
With over 130 teams slated to compete in the New Balance Invitational, the Cyclones will compete against some of the best track and field programs in the nation including Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, BYU, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Iowa, Georgetown, North Carolina, Kansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi State, Southern California, Texas A&M, Syracuse, Texas, Texas Tech, Villanova, UCONN and Tennessee.
The Cyclones will also face competition from international programs from Canada, France, Ireland and Puerto Rico.
Live results and a live video feed of the meet will be provided through www.armorytrack.com. Results will be posted on cyclones.com at the conclusion of each day's events.
