AMES, Iowa - Iowa State will play host to the NCAA Qualifier Saturday inside the Lied Recreation Center. Field events are set to start at 10 a.m. CST with the women's weight throw while events on the track are slated for an 11 a.m. start time. This is the last meet for athletes to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships. Several ISU track and field athletes will be competing in the final home meet of the indoor season.
The Cyclones will see competition against in-state rivals Iowa, Drake and Northern Iowa as well as competition from fellow Big 12 teams Kansas State, Baylor and Texas Tech. Also among teams competing this weekend are Northern Arizona, Minnesota, Nebraska, LSU, UCLA, Portland State, Northern Colorado, South Florida and Western Michigan.
Also entered in this weekend's competition is former Cyclone distance standout Lisa (Koll) Uhl who will compete unattached in the 3000-meter run.

The NCAA Division-I Indoor Track and Field Championships are March 9-10 in Boise, Idaho.
