AMES, Iowa - The 16th annual Cyclone Golf Challenge will be held Friday, Sept. 14 at the Harvester Golf Club in Rhodes, Iowa. The four-person scramble is a fundraiser for the Iowa State University men's and women's golf teams.
Over $100,000 has been raised in the past 15 years for the Cyclone golf programs. Last year, both teams advanced to NCAA postseason play in the same season for the first time since 1996.
An entry fee includes lunch, 18 holes of golf with a cart, two beverages on the course and prizes for flight winners. Members of the Cyclone men's and women's golf teams will be located on each hole to hit a shot.
Lunch will be served at check-in at 11 a.m., followed by a program at Noon. A shotgun start begins at 12:30 p.m. For information and sign up for the Cyclone Golf Challenge, download the entry form by clicking on the links tab above.
