CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The Iowa State women's golf team is off to a great start after the first round of the Hurricane Invitational this afternoon.
The Cyclones are currently in third place after posting a 286. Northwestern leads after firing a 280 and Louisville is in second at 283.
Senior Chonlada Chayanun kept her incredible scores rolling in with a 70 and freshman Nattapan Siritrai matched her, as both are currently in a tie for fifth.
Junior Cajsa Persson and freshman Celia Barquin contributed with rounds of 72 (T21) and 74 (T30), respectively.
The Hurricane Invitational continues tomorrow with round two and then concludes on Wednesday.
