Barquin Arozamena was the 2018 Big 12 champion and the 2017-18 ISU Female Athlete of the Year. She is ISU's career leader in stroke average (73.44) and won the 2018 European Ladies Amateur.Â
-Iowa State will wear a "CBA" patches throughout the season in her memory.Â
-Chayanit Wangmahaporn and Amelia Grohn both tied for eighth in the stroke play portion of the East & West Match Play.Â
-Wangmahaporn leads the team in stroke average (73.09) and birdies (38). She is ranked 74th nationally by Golfstat and No. 153 in the nation by Golfweek.Â
-She fired a career-low 67 in the second round of the Badger Invite. -
-Wangmahaporn has the second-best career stroke average in school history (73.49) and 11 sub-70 rounds in her career.
-Wangmahaporn was second on the team top-10 finishes (4) and scoring (74.04) in 2017-18, earning All-Big 12 honors for the third consecutive season.Â
