AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team will face a tough schedule this fall as it welcomes five newcomers to go with a trio of seniors in Boomer Saia's second season as head coach.
The Cyclones have scheduled 11 events, many of which will see them splitting up their squad.
The fall opens Sept. 14-22 with the qualifier only Lubbock 15K. That is the first of five tournaments that are qualifier events.
The first team event will be Sept. 19-22 at the Gopher Invitational in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Cyclones will follow that with a trip to the H-E-B Fall Invitational in Waco, Texas from Oct. 4-6.
The annual ITA Central Regional Tournament will be held in Norman, Oklahoma from Oct. 17-21. Iowa State also takes trips to Alabama (Nov. 1-3) and Florida State (Nov. 8-10).
