ORLANDO, Fla. – Iowa State's top doubles duo of freshmen Thasaporn Naklo and Christin Hsieh got their spring off to a strong start with an upset of No. 22 Jaeda Daniel and Adriana Reami of North Carolina State as the Cyclones opened play at the Orlando Invitational.
The Cyclones faced North Carolina State in doubles action before playing Missouri in singles action later in the day.

Naklo also picked up the singles win at the top spot, rallying after dropping the first set to earn the 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory against Missouri's Serena Nash.
ISU also got a win at No. 2 singles as senior Maty Cancini rolled to a 6-2, 6-2 victory over the Mizzou's Vivien Abraham.
