Set One: Iowa State 25 Texas Tech 17
Iowa State won seven of the first nine points in the set and never looked back. The story of the first frame was Andersen, with the Cyclone junior completely dominating proceedings with eight kills in the first. Prior to this season, her career highs for kills in a match was seven. ISU held TTU to nine kills, with the Red Raiders conceding five aces in the frame, two each to Izzy Enna and Holthaus. Andersen's eighth kill of the frame gave ISU the first 25-17.
Set Two: Texas Tech 25 Iowa State 21
The tale was reversed in the second, with Texas Tech going on a 10-1 run early on to reverse a 6-3 disadvantage into a 13-7 Red Raider lead. The Cyclone offense struggled, hitting just .125 for the frame, while the home team's serve that was so lethal in the first had four errors in the second. Set Three: Iowa State 25 Texas Tech 13
The Cyclone offense rose up again, with Holthaus leading the way, notching five kills on five swings, an ace and a massive solo block on Sanders. Iowa State chipped ahead early, but went on a big run to close the set, winning eight of the final nine points of the set, with Annie Hatch notching a kill to clean things up at 25-13. Iowa State hit .407 for the set, while restricting TTU to .069 hitting for the frame.
Set Four: Iowa State 25 Texas Tech 20

Despite the big numbers, the Red Raiders were able to keep it close throughout, never allowing ISU to get ahead by five and getting back within one at 21-20 on a Sanders kill. That was the visitors' last point of the night, as ISU ran the final four points, with Brooke Kanas' attack error wrapping things up at 25-20.
