AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State soccer team is headed to Lawrence, Kansas for a neutral site match vs. Oklahoma at Rock Chalk Park on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT. The Cyclones are looking to pick up their first win of the spring campaign following a 0-0 tie on Feb. 28 vs. UNI

KEY STORYLINES
- Iowa State will try to make it two in a row vs. Oklahoma after knocking off the Sooners, 1-0, in Norman earlier this season on Oct. 9.
- It was Iowa State's first win over OU since 2013. A win Saturday would be Iowa State's first back-to-back victories vs. Oklahoma since 2004-05.
- Freshman midfielder Elin Persson joined the team at the semester break and earned a start in her first collegiate match, playing 89 minutes vs. UNI.
- GK Jordan Silkowitz ranks No. 1 in the Big 12 in saves (47) and No. 2 in saves per game (4.7).
- Midfielder Mira Emma enters Friday's match ranked T-No. 8 in the Big 12 in assists this season with two. Both of Emma's assists this season have been on game-winning goals.
- Iowa State has tied back-to-back games for the first time since 2013. The Cyclones closed the fall with 1-1 tie at No. 12 Kansas.
- Iowa State has faced four opponents this season ranked in the top 15 nationally by the United Soccer Coaches poll. It is the first time in school history that Iowa State has faced four top-15 opponents in the same season.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz tied a career high with eight saves in Iowa State's 1-0 loss at Texas Tech. Her eight saves are tied for the most made in a single game by a Big 12 player this season. She is the only player in the conference with multiple eight-save performances.
- Iowa State had three true freshman make their debut in the Cardinal & Gold on Feb. 28 vs. UNI. Elin Persson started, while Schuyler Riese (10 minutes) and Hannah Shaw (61 minutes) also saw the pitch.
- Silkowitz and McKenna Schultz are the lone Cyclones to have played all 954 available minutes so far this season. That duo, along with center back Taylor Bee, has been key to Iowa State's defensive success.
