AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State soccer team returns home to the Cyclone Soccer Complex to take on Kansas on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT. The Cyclones are looking to pick up their first win of the spring campaign following a pair of ties vs. UNI and Oklahoma.

KEY STORYLINES
- Kansas leads the all-time series vs. Iowa State, 19-5-2. The Cyclones are looking for their first win in the series since 2010, a 2-0 victory in Ames.
- The Cyclones and Jayhawks tied, 1-1, on Nov. 6 in Lawrence to close out Iowa State's fall schedule. Courtney Powell scored a goal in the 90th minute to draw the Cyclones even.
- Iowa State will try to build off a 2-2 draw vs. Oklahoma on Saturday. The Cyclones showed resolve in battling back from a pair of one-goal deficits against the Sooners.
- Midfielder Mira Emma scored both of Iowa State's goals vs. OU. The sophomore became the first Cyclone to score multiple goals in a match since Sep. 20, 2015 (Koree Willer).
- Emma, a sophomore, enters Saturday's match ranked T-No. 8 in the Big 12 in assists this season with two. Both assists were on game-winning goals.
- GK Jordan Silkowitz ranks No. 1 in the Big 12 in saves (51) and No. 2 in saves per game (4.64).
- A season-high seven players were on the pitch for the entire match in Saturday's 2-2 draw vs. Oklahoma. Kenady Adams, Taylor Bee, Mira Emma, Tavin Hays, McKenna Schultz, Jordan Silkowitz and Eva Steckelberg all played the full 110 minutes.
- Iowa State has faced four opponents this season ranked in the top 15 nationally by the United Soccer Coaches poll. It is the first time in school history that Iowa State has faced four top-15 opponents in the same season.
- Iowa State has had three consecutive games end in a tie for the first time in program history.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz tied a career high with eight saves in Iowa State's 1-0 loss at Texas Tech. Her eight saves are tied for the most made in a single game by a Big 12 player this season. She is the only player in the conference with multiple eight-save performances.
- Freshman midfielder Elin Persson has started both of Iowa State's matches since joining the team at the semester break. Persson has totaled 190 minutes of playing time while showing promising flashes of potential.
- Silkowitz and McKenna Schultz are the lone Cyclones to have played all 1064 available minutes so far this season. That duo, along with center back Taylor Bee, has been key to Iowa State's defensive success.
