AMES, Iowa – Iowa State track and field/cross country's Cailie Logue has been named to the 2020 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Women's Track & Field and Cross Country Team, CoSIDA announced Thursday.
Logue has been named to the All-District Team for a second-straight season and is now eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team, which will be announced in August. Logue has received numerous accolades for her accomplishments in the classroom, being a multiple-time Academic All-Big 12 and USTFCCCA All-Academic Honoree in both track and field and cross country. Logue is also a two-time Big 12 Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year.
In competition, Logue is now a three-time All-American and a 10-time Big 12 champion across her Cyclone track and cross country career. In cross country, she is the three-time defending Big 12 Champion and in 2019 earned NCAA All-America honors after a 15th place finish at the NCAA Championships. On the track, Logue has earned All-America honors both indoors and outdoors, and this year became the third woman in Big 12 history to do the 5K/10K sweep at consecutive Big 12 Outdoor Championships. She competed at last month's U.S. Olympic Trials in the 10,000-meter run.
