AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State soccer team hosts SIUE on Sunday for Senior Day at the Cyclone Soccer Complex. This is just the second meeting all-time between the two and the first in Ames. The match will air on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
KEY STORYLINES
-The Sunday match is the only one on the slate for the Cyclones this week, while SIUE will be playing its second match of the week. The Cougars lost 1-0 at Drake on Friday night.
-Iowa State is coming off a 2-1 loss against Drake last Sunday. The Cyclones had a 26-2 advantage in shots, including 11-0 in the second half.
-The Cyclones have lost three-straight one-goal matches for the first time since 2019.
-SIUE won the Ohio Valley Championship last year, advancing to the NCAA Tournament. The Cougars dropped a 3-1 match to Virginia in the first round.
-Sunday's match is the first against a Big 12 opponent for the Cougars since playing Iowa State in 2019.
