AMES, Iowa – Iowa State wrestling head coach Kevin Dresser has announced the addition of Cayden Miller and Cole Carlucci to the 2022 recruiting class.
"We're excited to add Cayden and Cole to this class," Dresser said. "This class is turning into something very special."

High School:Â Monarch
Projected Weight Class:Â 184 pounds
Despite tearing his ACL during the football season, Carlucci bounced back during the wrestling season to win the Colorado State Championship to cap his high school career. Carlucci, a three-time state qualifier, earned his spot on the top of the podium after finishing fifth as a junior. In his final two seasons in high school, Carlucci compiled a 45-6 record.

Projected Weight Class:Â 197 pounds
Miller joins the Cyclones after an impressive career at Midland High School, where he was a three-time qualifier for the state tournament. He placed fifth as a junior, while finishing his career with a runner-up finish in 2022. He compiled a 47-1 record as a senior, while tallying 119 victories during his final three years of high school. He set the Midland High School record for career falls, going over 102 in January.
