LAST TIME OUT
The Cyclones were in Kansas last weekend, where they had a record-setting road trip. On Friday, Iowa State beat conference rival, No. 50 Kansas State, 4-2, and the team carried that momentum into their match against No. 22 Kansas on Sunday. The Cyclones were able to down the Jayhawks, 5-2, in Lawrence for their first-ever win against Kansas on the road. The victory also marked Iowa State's highest-ranked win in program history and set a new single-season school record for conference dubs away from home.
PLAYER TO WATCH
Freshman Ange Oby Kajuru has been having an incredible season. In just her first year as a Cyclone, she has already etched her name into Iowa State's record book. Kajuru's four singles victories in Big 12 action put her in a tie for eighth place on the all-time list for conference wins in a season. The two-time Big 12 Player of the Week holds an 11-4 record in singles and 12-2 on the doubles courts.
CYCLONE TENNIS QUICK HIT
