Kuearum Advances at ITA Central Regionals

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Anna Supapitch Kuearum advanced into the round of 32 on Friday at the ITA Central Regionals.

Kuearum faced Creighton's Ana Paula Martinez in the round of 64 at the ITA Central Regional Championships. Kuearum beat Martinez in straight sets, winning, 6-2, 6-2.

In other singles action, Isabella Dunlap began play in the main singles draw on Friday. Her first opponent was Southeastern Missouri State's Trinity Cosima Calinescu. Dunlap fell to Calinescu, 6-3, 6-1. Dunlap would withdraw from the consolation bracket.

In doubles action, Dunlap and Kuearum started their day off on the right foot, beating USD's Paige Alter and Amanda de Olivera, 8-4. In their second match, the pair battled against Nebraska's Jillian Roa and Maria Taranova but came up short, falling 8-6.
