Sieperda, Orr Placed on Academic All-America Teams

AMES, Iowa – Gable Sieperda and Quinton Orr earned CSC Academic All-America distinction, announced by the College Sports Communicators Thursday.
Sieperda was placed on second team while Orr earned third team. Both earn their first-career Academic All-America honor.
The women's honorees were announced yesterday, making for a total of seven track and field Iowa State Academic All-Americans.
Student-athletes picked up the honor after moving onto the national ballot from earning Academic All-District honors. All-District honorees hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher while participating in at least 50 percent of competitions.
