Van Gorp averaged 10.5 kills, 12.5 digs and 3.0 aces in the two matches.
First-year Cyclone Amiree Hendricks-Walker hit an errorless 10 kills on 15 swings (.667 hitting) in the sweep over TTU. Her hitting percentage is just off the program single-match top 10 (No. 10: .688). Faith DeRonde joined Van Gorp and Hendricks-Walker also hitting 10 kills at over .300 hitting, while as a team ISU hit at .317 through the Texas Tech match.
Johnson-Lynch continues her 20th season leading Iowa State, a program she has transformed. Johnson-Lynch holds 379 career victories (.645 winning percentage), with 206 of those being Big 12 wins to rank fourth in all-time conference history. Iowa State totals 10 20-win seasons under Johnson-Lynch, including the past two seasons.

No. 9 Kansas, the only undefeated team in Big 12 play remaining, leads the conference in hitting percentage (.322), blocks (2.67 per set) and assists (13.53 per set).
