The 2024 Cyclones

Iowa State won its fifth straight Big 12 match dating back to last season with the victory over Cincinnati. Iowa State handed UC its first road loss of the season and ended its seven-match win streak.

Morgan Brandt again showed she can do it all vs. Cincinnati, performing to her fifth double-double and 21st of her career with 43 assists and a season-high 14 digs. The setter also added five kills on eight attempts (.625 hitting), one ace and a block.

Brooke Stonestreet extended her 25-plus dig match streak to four with 25 vs. Cincinnati. The libero also led the match with four aces and had a perfect reception pct. (20/20).

Johnson-Lynch continues her 20th season leading Iowa State, a program she has transformed. Johnson-Lynch holds 378 career victories (.647 winning percentage), with 205 of those being Big 12 wins to rank fourth in all-time conference history. Iowa State totals 10 20-win seasons under Johnson-Lynch, including the past two seasons.

The Opponent

Iowa State leads the all-time series 57-44, but K-State is on a four-match win streak. ISU looks for the first victory over KSU since 2021. Last season the Wildcats swept ISU at Morgan Family Arena, KSU's new volleyball arena that opened in 2023. AVCA Honorable Mention All-American Aliyah Carter leads the Wildcats this season with 170 kills at 3.95 per set.
