AMES, Iowa – Iowa State next takes on the Bryan Clay Invite Thursday, April 11 through Saturday, April 12 in Azusa, California and the Jim Duncan Invite Friday, April 12 in Des Moines.

The Bryan Clay Invite hosted by Azusa Pacific will be streamed on FloTrack and the Jim Duncan Invite hosted by Drake can be watched on ESPN+. Iowa State distance runners will compete at Bryan Clay while a group of 20 head to Drake Stadium for the Jim Duncan Invite.
Action at Bryan Clay for the Cyclones begins at 8:30 p.m. CT Thursday with the men's steeplechase and men's and women's 10,000m invitational heats at 10:25 p.m., 12:10 a.m. and 12:45 a.m. Also at Bryan Clay, Cyclones will run in 800m and 5,000m heats throughout Friday beginning roughly at 11:40 a.m. while the Cyclones' final event is slated to begin at 1:20 a.m. Saturday. The 400m, 1,500m and 4x400m relay will wrap up the meet Saturday.
Friday at Drake, events begin at 12:30 p.m. with the men's shot put and will continue through the women's 5,000m at 4:45 p.m.
Last week at the Hurricane Invite, Cyclones made eight amends to the program top 10 performance lists. Darius Kipyego posted an elite 1:45.76 in the 800m to currently rank T-No. 2 in the nation and T-No. 15 in the world this outdoor season. Mikey McClain sprinted to two ranked performances, making the first addition to the 100m list since 2013 and the 200m list since 2012. Freshman Brooklyn Sandvig raced to the seventh-fastest performance in the 100m in her very first race as a Cyclone.

Next week, Iowa State heads to Arkansas for the John McDonnell Invite April 19-20.
