Ames, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team wrapped up the third and final day at its home tournament, going 2-2 on the day. The Cyclones finished with a .500 or better record all three days.
Suzanie Pretorius and Valeska San Martin Ramirez won their first match of the year as a pair and only doubles match of the day for the Cyclones, downing Kansas State's Diana Smolikova and Margaret Jaraczewski, 8-5.
Kira Smith picked up her third singles win of the weekend and second over Kansas State's Mallory Renfro, beating her, 6-1, 6-0. Gabriella Kellner and Gabriela Felix each fell in their respective singles matches.
The Cyclones will be back in action in two weeks for the ITA Regionals.
