AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State swimming and diving team competed in the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series on Saturday afternoon at Beyer Pool, falling to the Iowa Hawkeyes by a score of 105-194. Despite the result, the Cyclones had several strong performances across the pool and diving well in front of their home crowd.
"Last year to this year, we've taken some big steps forward," said head coach Matt Leach. "We still have plenty of work to do, but I'm really proud of this family and Cyclone Nation should be proud of their effort. We're going to continue to grow and continue to build to prepare for Kansas and Big 12 Championships in February."
