AMES, Iowa – Iowa State has two premier meets on deck as Cyclones travel to California for the Bryan Clay Invite and Mt. SAC Relays.

Middle distance and distance runners head to the Bryan Clay Invite, while throwers, hurdlers, jumpers, sprinters and middle distance runners compete at the Mt. SAC Relays.
Events for the Cyclones begin at both meets Thursday. Justice Miller takes on the elite javelin at Mt. SAC at 9:30 p.m. CT, the event he made his Cyclone debut in two weeks ago with the No. 4-ranked ISU performance.
At Bryan Clay Thursday, ISU runs in the steeplechase and 10,000m. Allen Bonnesen will run the 10K in the morning, while invite sections for the Cyclones follow at night. Betty Kipkore and Mercyline Kirwa compete in their first collegiate 10K, running in the fast invite section with a start time of 10:50 p.m. Robin Kwemoi Bera, Meshack Kimutai and Rodgers Kiplimo, all top 10-ranked ISU runners, run in the fast men's section at 11:25 p.m.
Friday is the day for 800-meters and 5,000-meters at Bryan Clay, with sections beginning in the morning and continuing through the men's invite 5,000m sections with a start time of 12:15 a.m. Friday and Saturday sections are yet to be assigned.
The 1,500m takes place Saturday at Bryan Clay with sections in the morning, while the evening sections begin at 7 p.m. through 12:00 a.m.
At Mt. SAC, Cyclones compete throughout collegiate and invitational elite sections Thursday through Saturday.
Next week is the 116th Drake Relays. Action at the Blue Oval begins Wednesday, April 22 and continues through Saturday, April 25.
