Kicking Off
Iowa State is set to close its four-game homestand on Thursday, as the team welcomes the Missouri State Bears to the CSC. The Cyclones will look to improve upon their 2-1-1 home record and open September with a win against MSU in the teams' first-ever meeting.
Iowa State enters Thursday's game coming off a 5-0 win over UNI on Sunday. For ISU, it was the team's fourth shutout of the season and second five-plus-goal performance of the season.
Missouri State enters the contest riding a three-game unbeaten streak, which includes a win against Missouri. The Bears have played two teams from the Big 12 so far this season, falling to both Kansas and Kansas State by a combined score of 10-0.
