As a redshirt freshman, wrestled to a 10-8 record... recorded four bonus-point victories on the year... finished fourth place at the Kaye Young Open... en route to his fourth place finish, he pinned John Altieri in 2:29.

2013-14

Went 1-2 in 2013-14, competing at the UNI Open ... picked up an 11-1 major decision over UNI's Mark Jolcover.

Three-time state qualifier at Ankeny High School… compiled a career record of 149-27 and holds the school record for most career victories… went 38-3 and placed fifth 103 pounds as a sophomore… went 41-5 as a junior, picking up 23 pins and qualifying for the state tournament at 106 pounds… went 44-5 as a senior with 22 pins en route to a fourth-place finish at 120 pounds… coached by Dave Ewing.
