Posted a 5-8 record in his final season as a Cyclone... wrestled in four tournaments for the Iowa State wrestling team... picked up two falls at the Grand View Open... pinned Jese Etherington of UNI in 3:37 and downed Grand View's Derek Miller in 3:17... went 1-2 at the UNI Open, pinning JD Sliger from Luther in 1:46... started off the season with a 2-2 outing at the Kaye Young Open... defeated Rafael Lopez by 15-2 major-decision.

Went 3-8, competing in four tournaments ... picked up a major decision at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open.
2012-13
Posted a 6-3 overall record competing at the Kaye Young Open and the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open… dropped his opening round match at the Kaye Young Open, then went on to win five-straight matches (three wins by fall) en route to third-place at 141 pounds… pinned Rick Weaver (Ellsworth Community College) in the first period at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open.

Finished season with 9-12 record … earned sixth place at the Kaye Young Open … also competed at the Harold Nichols/Cyclone Open, William Penn Open, “Flash” Flanagan Open, Grand View Open and Briar Cliff Open … six victories were bonus point wins.
