ISU Continues Texas Swing

AMES, Iowa- The Iowa State women's golf team continues its Texas road swing, competing in the 34th annual Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, March 16-18 in Austin, Texas. Competitors will play 18 holes each day at the University of Texas Golf Club, a par-72 layout that covers 6,323 yards. Live scoring will be provided by Golfstat.
Other teams in the field are Texas, Arkansas, Purdue, SMU, Oklahoma, Minnesota, TCU, Kansas, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Iowa, Penn State and Baylor.
The Cyclones finished 14th in the 16-team Texas A&M "Mo" Morial last weekend at the Traditions Golf Club in Bryan, Texas. Freshman Pennapa Pulsawath led ISU, tying for 29th with rounds of 76-78-81=235. Pulsawath has a team-low 77.33 stroke average this season.
