AMES, Iowa -- No. 4/3 Iowa State (7-1) will travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa, to compete at the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals Sat.-Sun. held in the UNI-Dome. Live stats will be available throughout the tournament on cyclones.com. Iowa Public Television will broadcast the semifinals on a delayed basis at 1 p.m. with the championship dual to follow live at 3 p.m.

-No. 4/3 Iowa State (7-1) will compete at the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals Sat.-Sun. held at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
-ISU enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed behind Penn State and Iowa. The Nittany Lions have been dabbed the No. 1 seed upon the latest NWCA team rankings and the Hawkeyes have the No. 2 seed.
-The Cyclones' first National Duals opponent will be unseeded Hofstra (4-4) at 11 a.m. Saturday.
-Jake Varner became the 38th Cyclone to earn a Midlands Championships title. The sophomore avenged his NCAA loss to former Northwestern NCAA champion Jake Herbert via 3-1 decision in sudden victory.
-Four sophomores reached 40-career victories during the Midlands Championships: Nick Fanthorpe (43), Nick Gallick (42), Jake Varner (41) and David Zabriskie (40). Cyler Sanderson accomplished the feat at the Dec. 18 UNI dual and currently has 46 career wins.
-Senior 197-pounder David Bertolino leads the team in bonus points, tallying 10 wins resutling in bonus points (three major decisions, four technical falls, three pins). Nick Fanthorpe (133) and Jon Reader (165) have nine bonus point wins. Fanthorpe has a trio of major decisions, technical falls and pins, while Reader has notched four majors, two technical falls and three pins.
