ISU Back in Action at Windy City Collegiate

AMES, Iowa-The Iowa State women's golf team will travel to Evanston, Ill., to play in the Windy City Collegiate, Oct. 6-7. ISU will be one of 13 teams in the event, which includes: Northwestern, Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Oklahoma, Purdue, TCU, Texas, UNLV, UNC-Wilmington, East Carolina and Texas State. The tournament will be conducted at the Evanston Golf Course in Skokie, Ill. It is a par-72, 6,350-yard layout. All competitors will play 36 holes on Monday (Oct. 6) and finish up with 18 holes on Tuesday (Oct. 7).
The Cyclones will go with their same lineup which competed in the season-opening tournament (Ron Moore Invitational): Pennapa Pulsawath, Kristin Paulson, Brittany Atterbury, Rachel Reed and Victoria Stefansen. ISU, which finished ninth out of 13 teams at the Ron Moore Invitational, was led by true freshman Kristin Paulson, who tied for 19th with a 226 total.
