Cyclones in Fourth After Day One of Classic

NORMAN, Okla. - The Iowa State women's golf team carded rounds of 305-294 (599) to sit in fourth place after the first day of the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Norman, Okla. Tournament host Oklahoma leads the 16-team field after carding rounds of 295-292=587. Arkansas-Little Rock and Wisconsin are in second and third, respectively.
Iowa State's Pennepa Pulsawath sits in ninth place after firing rounds of 75-71=146. Redshirt freshman Victoria Stefansen carded a career-low 73 during the second round and is currently in a tie for 17th heading into tomorrow's final round. Kendra Hanson carded two solid rounds of 75-76 and is tied for 23rd.
The Cyclones will finish the final round of the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic tomorrow morning with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Results from tomorrow's final round action will be posted on cyclones.com
