HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. - Led by junior Pennapa Pulsawath, the Iowa State women's golf team carded a first round 317 Monday afternoon at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate. Pulsawath paced the Cyclones, carding a 76 through the first 18 holes and stands in a tie for 18th. Denver is in first place after shooting a 287 and also leads the medalist race after Stephanie Sherlock carded a 67. ISU is currently in 12th.
Also competing for the Cyclones were Victoria Stefansen and Brittany Atterbury who shot a pair of 80's while Kristin Paulson and Rachel Reed both fired an 81.
The second round of the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate begins tomorrow with an additional 18 holes.
