Cyclones Move Up to 9th after Day Two

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. - Freshman Kristin Paulson leads the Iowa State women's golf team in the second day of the Ron Moore Women's Intercolliegate. Paulson, playing in her first meet as a Cyclone paced?Iowa State?on day two with an even 72.
Iowa State carded a team score of 300 during the second round, which puts them into 9th place. The Cyclones have a two-round total of 617 heading into tomorrow's final round. Host Denver leads the pack with a two-day total of 573, as they are the only team playing under par.
Junior Pennapa Pulsawath carded a 76 for Iowa State and puts her currently tied for 20th overall. Paulson has moved up the leaderboard to a tie at 27th place with a two-day total of 153. Also competing for the Cyclones were Victoria Stefansen and Rachel Reed, who each shot a 76. UC Irvine's Jane Chin is the current individual leader with a score of 136 after day two.
