Caffrey, Andreassen Finish Out Day One of ISU Classic

AMES, Iowa ? Iowa State's Jenna Caffrey finished sixth in the pentathlon Thursday while teammate Jordon Andreassen finished ninth on the first day of the ISU Classic at the Lied Recreation-Athletic Center. Caffrey tallied 3,577 points and Andreassen scored 3,468 points. Indiana State's Erica Moore won the event with 4,030 points.

In the heptathlon, sophomore Kale Brockman finished out day one of competition in eighth place with 2,210 points. The heptathlon, along with more of the ISU Classic, will continue Friday at 9 a.m. The ISU Classic will wrap up on Saturday. Results will be available on cyclones.com.
