AMES, Iowa - The No. 2 Iowa State wrestling team and its standout group of seniors will take to the mat in Hilton Coliseum Sunday at 2 p.m. for the 2009-10 regular season finale against Nebraska. For the ISU seniors, it is their last dual before the friendly home crowd of Cyclone supporters. The Cyclones hold a 12-2 dual record, with a perfect 3-0 mark in Big 12 competition. Nebraska sports a 9-10 overall dual record. The Cyclone seniors will be honored before the start of the event.
All-session tickets are now available for the 2010 Big 12 Wrestling Championships. Fans can purchase tickets online at SoonerSports.com or by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (405) 325-2424 or toll-free at (800) 456-GoOU. Seating is split into lower and upper reserved sections. There are a total of 2 sessions for this event. All-session passes cost $25 for lower and $15 for upper. Single-session prices are $15 for lower and $10 for upper. Both sessions are March 6.

Dual 15: NebraskaCyclone Notebook
? The No. 2 Iowa State wrestling team will conclude the 2009-10 regular season at home Sunday against Big 12 opponent, Nebraska. ISU is 3-0 in league action and are winners of six-straight duals.
? ISU notched the 1,000th dual victory in program history Feb. 7 at Arizona State with a 30-10 win. ISU is 1,001-263-20 all-time in duals, dating back to 1916.
? Iowa State's wins at No. 10 Oklahoma (21-12) and No. 3 Oklahoma State (20-18) Jan. 22-24 marks just the second time in Cyclone history (1971) that ISU has won at OU and at OSU in the same season. Iowa State is perfect in the Big 12 (3-0) with a Feb. 21 victory over No. 17 Missouri, 28-10.
? Heading from one side of the country to the other, ISU was successful in duals at Cornell Jan. 31 (24-13) and at Arizona State Feb. 7 (30-10).
? The Cyclones posted their best National Duals finish since 2000, earning second place Jan. 10 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. ISU beat Bloomsburg, No.8 Maryland and No. 3 Ohio State before falling to No. 1 Iowa, 19-12.
? The Cyclones are 12-2 in the 2009-10 season with earlier dual victories coming Nov. 12 in Hilton Coliseum over South Dakota State (43-3), Dec. 19 at UNI, 42-0, Jan. 3 at No. 6 Minnesota, 19-16 and Jan. 16 at home over Illinois by a score of 33-9.
? ISU is currently ranked 2/2 in the Intermat and W.I.N. Magazine polls, respectively.
? Three Iowa Staters have at least 23 wins this season. Varner (197) is perfect at a 23-0 mark. ISU's Mitch Mueller (149) and Andrew Sorenson (157) have both tallied 23 wins, as well.

? The Huskers are 9-10 in dual competition in the 2009-10 season.
? Nebraska has dropped two duals in a row, both against Big 12 competition. NU fell to Oklahoma Feb. 4, 22-15, and dropped at Oklahoma State Feb. 12, 31-6. The squad is 0-3 in league competition.
? The Huskers own dual victories over South Dakota State (46-6) and Wisconsin (26-17).
? Two heated Cyclone-Husker battles are expected in the upper weights between ISU's Jake Varner and NU's Craig Brester at 197 pounds, and Iowa State's David Zabriskie and Nebraska's Tucker Lane at heavyweight.
? The rivalry between Varner and Brester has decided one NCAA 197-pound title, with the 2009 belt going to the Cyclone by decision, 2-1. The series stands at 3-1 in favor of Varner.
? Nebraska's Lane struck first against Iowa State, upsetting Zabriskie at the 2009 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals by decision, 7-6. The Cyclone took the next two matches in the season to hold the lead in the series, 2-1.
No. 2 Wrestlers Trap 17th-Ranked Tigers, 28-10
? The second-ranked Iowa State wrestling team rolled up the points early to power its way to a 28-10 victory over 17th-ranked Missouri last Sunday in Hilton Coliseum. Five Cyclones scored bonus-point victories over the Tigers, including an overtime pin recorded by ISU's Duke Burk at 174 pounds. Iowa State improves to 12-2, along with a 3-0 mark in the Big 12 Conference. MU drops to 7-7, overall.
? ISU's Jon Reader downed fifth-ranked Nicholas Marable by decision, 3-2. The Cyclone two-time All-American was previously 0-3 against the Tiger senior.
? Cyclone heavyweight David Zabriskie turned away Missouri's Mark Ellis by decision, 3-2, to improve to 6-0 all-time against the Tiger national champion.
? Iowa State seniors Nick Fanthorpe (133) and Mitch Mueller (149), as well as sophomore Andrew Sorenson (157) recorded major decision victories for the Cyclone team effort.
Reader Wrestles To Big 12 Honors
? Iowa State's Jon Reader was named the Big 12 Wrestler of the Week, it was announced by the conference Feb. 15. It is the first league honor of the season for Reader, and the third of his career.
? This is the fifth Big 12 weekly honor received by a Cyclone this season. Reader's teammates Andrew Long (125), Jerome Ward (184) and Jake Varner (197, twice) have been honored this season. The total ties the record set last season.
ISU's Three-Time NCAA Finalist Varner Continues To Light It Up
? Iowa State's Jake Varner is as dominant as ever at 197 pounds this season. After recording a 31-2 record en route to a NCAA title at 197 pounds in 2009, Varner is undefeated in his senior campaign with 23 victories.
? The Bakersfield, Calif., native has won 83 percent of his matches this season for bonus points, with either a major decision, technical fall, pin or forfeit.
? Varner has been a standout in the Cyclone lineup since taking the starting spot at 184 pounds as a redshirt freshman. Varner holds a 113-10 record in his career, which equates to a .919 winning-percentage. The Cyclone sports an outstanding 60-4 mark in dual competition.
