Cyclones Head to Husker Invitational

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State track and field teams will head to Lincoln, Neb. to compete in the Husker Invitational Friday and Saturday at the Devaney Sports Complex.
Action begins at noon CST on Friday with multi-event competition, with field events starting at 5 p.m. (women's weight throw) and events on the track beginning at 6 p.m. (women's 60-meter dash preliminaries). Action resumes Saturday at 10 a.m. CST with the conclusion of the multi-events, while track and field events are both slated for a noon start (women's shot put and the women's mile run).
The Devaney Sports Complex at Nebraska will also be the site of the 2011 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships Feb. 25-26.
Live results will be available for the Husker Invitational. Results will be posted on cyclones.com at the conclusion of each day's events.
