OWASSO, Okla. - The No. 21 Iowa State women's golf team placed fourth at the 15-team Dale McNamara Invitational Wednesday afternoon. The Cyclones fired a 290 in the third round today for a three-day 888 total, the 11th-best 54-hole total in school history. Oklahoma State won the team title with an 868.

Freshman Chonlada Chayanun made an auspicious debut for the Cyclones, leading the team with a three-round 221 tally. Chayanun fired rounds of 75-73-73 to tie for ninth. Sophomore Prima Thammaraks placed 14th, one stroke behind Chayanun at 222. Senior Kristin Paulson tied for 15th with a 223.

Arizona State's Giulia Molinaro claimed medalist honors with a 210.
